“The greatest privilege of a human life is to become midwife to the birth of the soul”.

John O’Donohue

This sentence…
This is something I feel strongly related to.

I feel so blessed to be invited to attend births especially as I am not a midwife.

I feel privileged to attend a birth, each and every time,

to be part of the team witnessing the birth of a soul. Your baby.

I am professionally trained as a body worker (and saying body I include the physical, emotional and spiritual layers of our body) I’ve completed many extra trainings in reflexology and shiatsu in specifically supporting the pregnant woman (before conception, while pregnant during birth and postnatally).

The Doula training I have done in the Red tent UK with Nicola Goodall, but before that I have taken part in many workshops with midwifes from around the world that came to Amsterdam. For days I was with them learning listening, training.

The way I support pregnancy

From day one I work with touch and physical emotional connection.

The sessions at my practice are part working with touch and part conversation/coaching.

Including the partner is (encouraged and) always welcome.

The rate is different from usual sessions, together we create your support plan.

You are most welcome to contact one of the families that I have supported to have an idea of how my presence contributed to the birth of their child.

Those women, families would be happy to hear from you.

I am here to answer any questions you may have and to plan the support you want around pregnancy, birth and beyond.

You can use the contact form on this website or call to speak to me directly.
